I started the day by photography the San Francisco skyline from Bay Farm Island and while driving back I noticed the sun rising through the Chuck Corica Golf Course in Alameda

Recently I was looking at this image and converted it to black and white to provide more attention to the shadow versus the grass at the edge of the frame

While it looks like it is a direct line to the capitol

the current location was not built until 1924 as noted at the top of the facade

Morning Colors in Havana Harbor Reflection giclee print on watercolor paperAs I walked through the streets of Havana in the dawn of the new day I noticed the colors of the sky reflecting in the waters of the Havana Harbor. Using a slow shutter speed I was able to show some movement in the water as the orange of the morning sky reflected. It was just a short period of time this was reflected prior to the start of a new day in Cuba.
